Job Summary

Trinity Health is seeking a skilled Food Service Operations Representative to join our team. As a key member of our Food Services Department, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest level of patient satisfaction and care.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assemble, prepare, serve, and deliver trays, meals, and nourishments to patients and other customers in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Attend to patient, nursing, and other customer food service and related requests, needs, or requirements in a friendly, cheerful, patient, and customer-focused manner.
  • Collect trays and other items for transport to Food Service and maintain a clean and organized work environment.
  • Assist in the sanitation of the department, including pots, dish room, trash, floors, and special cleaning as assigned.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by management.
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; four years of work-related experience preferred.
  • Ability to communicate clearly, effectively, and courteously via telephone, in person, or in writing.
  • Ability to read, comprehend, and write simple and moderately complex instructions, correspondence, and memos in English.
  • Ability to speak and communicate in Spanish is desired.
  • Ability to perform basic arithmetic functions.
  • Ability to use common sense in carrying out written and oral instructions and solving problems.
  • Ability to use kitchen, trayline, and warewashing equipment.
