- Administer medication injections as prescribed by physician and follow all other physician's orders.
- Monitor clients' belongings for items of safety concern and/or contraband.
- Remain awake and alert at all times to provide supervision of clients and to aid when needed.
- Work under the direction of the RN on duty.
- Document appropriate activities in case note format that justify the need for treatment.
- Complete and submit service logs per agency policy.
- Maintain case record documentation that is adequate, appropriate, complete, and timely.
- Identify and report to supervisor in a timely manner any safety concern or any unusual incidents in the work environment.
- Attend and participate appropriately in clinical staffing as requested.
- Respond to clients' needs in an appropriate and timely manner.
- Demonstrate appropriate interactions with coworkers that promote a pleasant work environment.
- Participate as a team member to provide a nurturing and consistent therapeutic treatment environment.
- Requires Mississippi licensure as a licensed practical nurse.
- Requires excellent time management, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
- Requires current CPR status at all times.
- Requires completion of CPI within the first 30 days of employment.
- Requires valid driver's license and auto liability insurance.
