Imaging CT Technologist

We are seeking a skilled Imaging CT Technologist to join our team at Medical City Weatherford. As a key member of our radiology department, you will be responsible for performing routine and specialized imaging procedures using computerized tomography (CT) technology.
Responsibilities- Assist and position patients on the CT table, ensuring their comfort and safety.
- Start IVs for contrast injection and perform other necessary procedures.
- Assess image quality and make adjustments as needed to ensure high-quality images.
- Release patients with proper post-procedure instructions and ensure a smooth transition to the next step in their care.
- Turn over and prepare the room using aseptic technique between patients, maintaining a clean and safe environment.
- Follow radiation safety procedures and guidelines to minimize exposure and ensure patient safety.
- Graduate of an accredited AMA program with a certificate or degree in Radiology Technology.
- Registered ARRT with RT(R)(CT) CT registration required.
- BCLS required upon hire.
- Two years of experience preferred, with additional training in CT scanning.
- On-call required, with the ability to report to the facility within 45 minutes of call-back.
- Must be able to work rotating weekends and holidays.
Medical City Weatherford is a 100+ bed acute-care hospital serving Parker County and surrounding communities. Our medical staff represents 30+ medical specialties, and our health care services include inpatient and outpatient care, medical-surgical and emergency care. We are a designated Comprehensive (Level II) Stroke Facility and Level IV Trauma Center, and our hospital is a Level I Neonatal Facility and a Chest Pain-Accredited facility.
