HexaQuEST Health, Inc. is seeking a skilled Diagnostic Imaging Technologist to join our team on a per diem basis. As a Radiologic Technologist, you will be responsible for acquiring high-quality radiographs and performing fluoroscopy guidance for diagnostic, surgical, and therapeutic purposes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Acquire and process high-quality radiographs using radiographic equipment and positioning.
- Perform fluoroscopy guidance for diagnostic, surgical, and therapeutic purposes.
- Prepare patients for diagnostic imaging exams, including explaining procedures and positioning patients correctly.
- Monitor PACS for problem studies and call reports, and track and verify studies as needed.
- Document patient information, exam details, and staff participation in exams.
Requirements:
- Graduate from an approved Radiologic Technology education program.
- RRT certification and New York State license of Radiologic Technology required.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with flexibility to rotate through different rooms and shifts.
- Knowledge of department and hospital policies, protocols, and work rules.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive patient information.
