Job Summary:

HexaQuEST Health, Inc. is seeking a skilled Diagnostic Imaging Technologist to join our team on a per diem basis. As a Radiologic Technologist, you will be responsible for acquiring high-quality radiographs and performing fluoroscopy guidance for diagnostic, surgical, and therapeutic purposes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Acquire and process high-quality radiographs using radiographic equipment and positioning.
  • Perform fluoroscopy guidance for diagnostic, surgical, and therapeutic purposes.
  • Prepare patients for diagnostic imaging exams, including explaining procedures and positioning patients correctly.
  • Monitor PACS for problem studies and call reports, and track and verify studies as needed.
  • Document patient information, exam details, and staff participation in exams.


Requirements:

  • Graduate from an approved Radiologic Technology education program.
  • RRT certification and New York State license of Radiologic Technology required.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with flexibility to rotate through different rooms and shifts.
  • Knowledge of department and hospital policies, protocols, and work rules.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive patient information.
