English Teacher

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated English Teacher to join our team at Glade Run Lutheran Services. As a key member of our educational team, you will play a vital role in shaping the academic and personal growth of our students.

• Develop and implement engaging Language Arts curriculum that meets the diverse needs of our students.
• Collaborate with colleagues to create a positive and inclusive learning environment that fosters academic excellence and social-emotional growth.
• Assess student progress and adjust instruction to meet individual needs, using data-driven approaches to inform teaching practices.
• Communicate effectively with parents and guardians to ensure seamless transitions and support student success.
• Participate in professional development opportunities to stay current with best practices in education and to enhance instructional skills.

• Bachelor's degree in Education or related field, with a focus on Secondary English 7-12.
• PA Teaching Certification in Secondary English 7-12 (Private or Public).
• Agency Crisis/Physical Intervention training completion.
• Eligibility for PA State Police Clearance, PA Child Abuse History Clearance, FBI Clearance, and Arrest/Conviction Report.
