Job Summary

Evolve Treatment Centers is seeking a highly skilled and dedicated DBT Primary Therapist to join our team at our comprehensive DBT residential treatment facility for adolescents. As a key member of our clinical team, you will be responsible for providing individual and family therapy sessions, facilitating DBT Skills Training groups, and collaborating with our multidisciplinary team to ensure the best possible outcomes for our clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage a caseload of approximately 3 clients, including individual and family sessions, and adhere to DBT principles and core treatment strategies.
  • Facilitate weekly DBT Skills Training groups and provide comprehensive DBT services.
  • Complete all necessary documentation on time in our electronic medical record (EMR) system.
  • Attend weekly Treatment Team meetings and present cases to our clinical team.
  • Conduct Biopsychosocial Assessments upon admission and coordinate after-care with parents and our Discharge Coordinator.
  • Collaborate with our multidisciplinary team on client matters and participate in a weekly DBT Consultation Team meeting.
Qualifications
  • Current licensure as a LMFT, LCSW, or LPCC, or registration as an associate (AMFT, ACSW, or APCC).
  • Dedication to providing DBT adherently, as designed by Marsha Linehan.
  • Availability to be on-call during evenings and every other weekends.
  • Ability to pass a Live Scan background check.
  • Exceptional clinical judgment and ability to work in a fast-paced, challenging, and dynamic environment.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to think flexibly and remain regulated during intense situations.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Foundational or intensive training in DBT provided by Behavioral Tech or another reputable DBT trainer.
  • Experience working as part of a comprehensive DBT team.
