Gastroenterology Physician Assistant

As a Gastroenterology APP, you will perform comprehensive medical and nursing assessments to diagnose and treat patients. You will serve as an advisor, resource, preceptor, and leader for other members of the patient care team. This position is PRN, with 10 hour shifts and a premium pay rate.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct and indirect patient care for patients referred to the GI service.
- Participate in staff and patient education, developing patient education material promoting current clinical practice guidelines.
- Work collaboratively with all staff and physicians in the delivery of patient care, communicating frequently with GI attending physicians and support staff.
Requirements:
- MSN - graduate of Nurse Practitioner Program
- Two years as RN; Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) required; BSN's from CCNE accredited schools or Maryland Physician Assistant license required.
