Key Responsibilities:

- Receive assignments framed as objectives and determine optimal resource allocation to meet timelines and targets.
- Provide direction to team members to achieve objectives in line with established company policies.
- Propose modifications to policies and establish procedures impacting the immediate organization.
- Adhere to processes and operational guidelines in selecting methods and techniques for problem-solving.

- Develop and manage schedules and performance metrics; may involve budget oversight.

Essential Duties:

- Generate stock transfer orders.
- Coordinate the load-out schedule with internal distribution and external contractors.
- Integrate Capacity Planning, Production, and Warehouse inputs along with key transfer orders into the system utilized for shipping to inventory centers.
- Assign loads to contracted carriers and establish pick-up appointments.
- Implement necessary adjustments in the mainframe system.
- Ensure all areas maintain cleanliness and organization.
- Verify that products pulled for production comply with SAP requirements.
- Uphold a first in/first out inventory philosophy.
- Maintain forklift safety and certification standards.

Skills and Qualifications:

  • Proficient in computer applications including spreadsheets, word processing, transportation, and cold chain management.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
  • Exceptional leadership, communication, and team-building skills.
  • Familiarity with OSHA, USDA, HAACP, FDA, DEA regulations, safety protocols, sanitation, and food safety as applicable to warehouse operations.

Educational and Professional Requirements:

- Bachelor’s Degree or a combination of education and experience totaling at least 10 years in warehouse management.
- 3-5 years of progressively responsible warehouse experience, including leadership roles.
