Job Title: Behavior Intervention Teacher

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Behavior Intervention Teacher to join our team at Hardin Public Schools. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing intervention strategies to support students with emotional and behavioral challenges.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with the Behavior Support Team to plan and develop behavior support programming
  • Conduct observations and establish appropriate behavior plans as needed
  • Work cooperatively with classroom teachers to develop and implement intervention strategies
  • Administer programs and services for behaviorally or emotionally disturbed students
  • Develop and implement a system of tracking and evaluating student performance
Requirements:
  • Valid Montana Teacher Certification with an Elementary Curriculum endorsement
  • Education/experience with emotional and behavioral disorders preferred
  • Ability to apply knowledge of current research and theory to instructional program
  • Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with students, staff, and parents
