Requirements:
  • Associate's degree from an accredited professional nursing education program.
  • Valid registered nurse license from the State of Texas Board of Nursing.
  • Current certification in cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) and automated external defibrillator (AED).
  • Minimum of two years of nursing experience in community health, ambulatory care, school health, or other related fields.
Working Conditions:

The School Nurse will work in a school setting, providing healthcare services to students. The position requires frequent standing, sitting, kneeling/squatting, bending/stooping, pushing/pulling, and twisting. The School Nurse may be exposed to biological hazards, bacteria, and communicable diseases.

Salary and Benefits:

The salary for this position is $62,995/BA, $63,495/MA, $63,995/PHD (based on previous experience). The position is a 190-day contract.
