Responsibilities
  • Provide direct care to residents, including assistance with activities of daily living, personal hygiene, and mobility.
  • Assist with daily tasks such as laundry, transportation, and meal preparation.
  • Monitor residents' condition and status, reporting any changes or concerns to the healthcare team.
  • Participate in rounds to identify and mitigate hazards or incidents.
  • Assist with dining, including escorting residents to the dining room and cleaning up after meals.
  • Provide companionship and conversation to residents.
Requirements
  • High School diploma or equivalent.
  • Must be 18 years of age.
  • Completion of a state-approved CNA certification course.
  • Ability to read and communicate effectively to perform essential job duties.
  • Ability to treat residents with dignity and respect.
