Role of the Physical Therapist Assistant

As a Physical Therapist Assistant, you will play a crucial role in delivering therapeutic exercises and physical therapy modalities aimed at facilitating patient recovery and helping them regain their daily living activities.

We encompass a broad network of healthcare professionals, including primary care physicians, specialists, and advanced practice clinicians, all focused on delivering exceptional patient care.

Key Responsibilities

  • Administer therapeutic exercises and assist patients in improving their functional activities, including ambulation and daily living tasks.
  • Evaluate and document patients' responses to treatments, ensuring a tailored approach to rehabilitation.
  • Fit, adjust, and instruct patients on the use of orthopedic braces, prosthetics, and supportive devices.
  • Encourage active participation from patients and their families in setting rehabilitation goals and educational training.

Qualifications

  • Associate's Degree from an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program.
  • Current licensure as a Physical Therapist Assistant.
  • Certification in CPR/BLS from the American Heart Association.
  • Possession of a valid driver's license and auto liability insurance as per company policy.
