Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team at Idlewild Creek, a beautiful conventional apartment community in Cornwall, NY. As a Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for performing property maintenance/repairs as needed/requested by residents and/or property management staff.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform property maintenance/repairs, including HVAC, plumbing, electrical, keys and locks, appliances, lighting systems, carpentry, etc.
  • Perform exterior maintenance, including roof, parking lot, and pool/recreation area, snow removal, trash pick-up, etc.
  • Turn apartments and ensure that move-in standards are met.
  • Work one weekend day per week and be available to respond to emergencies and participate in on-call rotation.
Requirements
  • One plus year's relevant experience, multi-family a plus, 100 or more units.
  • Experience with plumbing, HVAC, and appliance repair.
  • Employees must provide own hand tools and be knowledgeable and skilled in the safe use and maintenance of hand tools, power tools, mechanical equipment and measuring devices.
  • Superior customer service skills.
  • Valid driver's license.
