Job Title: Managing Editor

Job Summary:

CherryRoad Media is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Managing Editor to lead our newsroom team. As a key member of our editorial team, you will be responsible for overseeing the print and online products of our publications, supervising editorial staff, and ensuring all editorial requirements and standards are met.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement editorial strategies to drive engagement and growth
  • Supervise and mentor editorial staff to ensure high-quality content
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive business results
  • Manage budgets and resources to ensure efficient operations
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices
  • Represent the company at public events and functions

Requirements:

  • 3+ years of experience in a newsroom or editorial role
  • Strong leadership and communication skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Knowledge of AP style and grammar
  • Experience with content management systems
