Job SummaryWe are seeking a skilled Certified Nursing Assistant to join our Cardiac Cath Lab team. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will provide high-quality patient care and support to our patients and families.
Responsibilities- Provide holistic care to patients and families, including assistance with activities of daily living, vital sign collection, and specimen collection.
- Work collaboratively with the registered nurse to achieve quality patient care and outcomes.
- Maintain a clean and safe patient environment, adhering to infection control and safety protocols.
- Document patient care and interactions in the electronic medical record.
- Participate in crash cart checks and respond to Code Blue situations.
- Assist with emergency care, including cardio-pulmonary resuscitation and patient transport.
- Handle patient personal property with care and maintain confidentiality.
- Adhere to hospital policies and procedures, including safety and infection control protocols.
- Current CA Certified Nursing Assistant certification
- HeartSaver AED certification
- Kaweah Health approved crisis intervention training within 60 days of hire/transfer
This position requires the ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with frequent interruptions and changing priorities. The successful candidate will be able to work effectively in a team setting, communicate clearly and respectfully with patients and colleagues, and maintain a professional demeanor in all interactions.
