Key Responsibilities

Supplier and Order Management

  • Coordinate with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of materials and services.
  • Support project managers in managing multiple projects simultaneously, with a focus on meeting deadlines and budget requirements.
  • Identify potential risks and develop strategies to mitigate them, ensuring the smooth operation of our supply chain.
  • Expedite material deliveries in accordance with construction schedules, ensuring that projects are completed on time.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact with vendors and materials suppliers, building strong relationships to ensure seamless communication.
  • Communicate with project teams on the status of all materials within the project scope.

Reporting and Document Control

  • Review and verify Bills of Materials (BOM) and Purchase Orders to ensure accuracy.
  • Provide status updates of quotes and orders to project managers, ensuring that they have the information they need to make informed decisions.
  • Produce and deliver reports to assist Project Managers in material readiness meetings, ensuring that all stakeholders are informed.
  • Track electrical equipment and material order delivery dates by reviewing Supply Chain documentation, reports, and purchase orders.
  • Identify potential risks and develop strategies to mitigate them, ensuring the smooth operation of our supply chain.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, business administration, engineering, or a related discipline, and a minimum of 4 years' related work experience.
  • Transmission Line & Substation experience is required.
  • OSHA 10/30 Certification
  • 3-5 years' experience in project management support
  • 3-5 years' experience working with engineering teams, project managers, and EPC procurement preferred.
  • 1-2 years' experience in a direct customer-facing and materials management role.
  • 1-2 years' experience with an electrical materials supplier and electrical subcontractor
  • Experience with ERP inventory management systems
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Suite of Programs (Outlook, Excel, Word, Teams, Sharepoint, Vizio)
