We are seeking a skilled and experienced RN-Charge Nurse to lead our Emergency Department team. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care, mentoring and developing staff, and ensuring the smooth operation of our department.
Responsibilities- Assign and direct nursing and support staff during assigned shifts, ensuring that patient care needs are met and staff are equipped to provide high-quality care.
- Collaborate with advanced practice providers to ensure quality patient outcomes and develop strategies to improve patient satisfaction.
- Evaluate patient care and identify areas for improvement, implementing changes as needed to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Respond to patient and family complaints, addressing concerns and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner.
- Participate in performance evaluations, providing feedback and coaching to staff to support their growth and development.
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing or equivalent education.
- One year of registered nurse experience, preferably in an emergency department setting.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification and Advanced Life Support (ALS) certification, or equivalent.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple responsibilities simultaneously.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams.
