Job Summary

As a Plastipak Maintenance Technician, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our manufacturing equipment. Your primary responsibility will be to perform breakdown maintenance, execute and improve preventative maintenance procedures, and participate in changeovers to ensure efficient and correct execution.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform breakdown maintenance for blow molding manufacturing equipment to ensure uninterrupted and optimal operations
  • Execute and continuously improve preventative maintenance procedures
  • Participate in changeovers, ensuring efficient and correct execution
  • Repair and rebuild spare parts
  • Ensure compliance with all safety protocols, quality standards, operational practices, and procedures
  • Expand your expertise through formal training and on-the-job experiences, including new equipment installation and equipment modification projects
Requirements
  • Ability to work 12 hour nights, 7p-7a, on a rotating schedule
  • High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent
  • A minimum of three (2) years of experience maintaining manufacturing equipment
  • Experience with Sidel, Palletizer, and Airveyor is preferred
  • Solid hydraulics, pneumatics, and electrical knowledge, along with the ability to troubleshoot and problem solve
  • Ability to interpret technical and operational documents, including manuals, blueprints, and schematics
  • Ability to lift up to 75 pounds and work on aerial platforms up to 20 feet with or without reasonable accommodation
Compensation
  • $25 and up, based on experience
  • 12 hour night shift includes a shift differential of $2
