Key Responsibilities

  • Execute assigned responsibilities under the supervision of the Nurse Care Coordinator (NCC).
  • Contribute to the implementation of treatment plans and assist residents with daily living activities.
  • Monitor and report any unusual vital signs or behavioral changes to the healthcare team.
  • Participate in required meetings and training sessions.
  • Adhere to all policies and procedures regarding resident care and safety.
  • Prepare residents for their scheduled appointments and activities.
  • Implement safety protocols and assist with restorative activities.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization in areas designated for resident care.
  • Support residents with feeding and promote self-help skills.
Qualifications
  • High School Diploma or equivalent is mandatory.
  • Current CNA Certification on the NYS Nurse Aide Registry is essential.
  • Experience working with children is preferred.
  • A minimum of one year of experience as a Nursing Aide is advantageous.
