Project Controls Specialist

Are you a detail-oriented professional with a passion for project management? Do you have experience with project controls and a strong understanding of project management principles? We are seeking a Project Controls Specialist to join our team at Duke Energy.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide project controls support to project managers and directors
  • Lead the setup and review of project controls status
  • Perform primary aspects of project control assignments
  • Develop and maintain cost management work for assigned projects
  • Work with project teams to update field work in the integrated schedule

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Project Management, Finance, or Business Administration
  • 7 years of work-related experience
  • Experience with large civil tunneling projects and/or large hydro generation projects

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Master's degree in Project Management, Finance, or Business Administration
  • Certified Associate of Project Management
  • Project Management Professional
  • AACE-EVP, AACE-CEP, AACE-PSP, AACE-CCC, PMI-SP certification

Work Location:

May require 25-40% or more presence at site(s)

Travel Requirements:

25-50%
