Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Hematology Oncology Nurse Practitioner to join our G70 unit at Cleveland Clinic's Main Campus. This role offers a unique opportunity to work with a talented team of healthcare professionals who are passionate about delivering high-quality, patient-centered care.

Responsibilities
  • Provide direct nursing care to adult patients receiving chemotherapy, targeted cancer therapies, and other treatments for various malignancies and hematologic diseases.
  • Implement, monitor, evaluate, update, and revise patient care plans to ensure optimal outcomes.
  • Monitor, record, document, and communicate patients' conditions to healthcare teams and families.
  • Administer prescribed medications and treatments, noting and carrying out physician and nursing orders.
  • Assess and coordinate patients' discharge needs, ensuring seamless transitions to home or next level of care.
  • Educate patients and their families on treatment options, disease management, and self-care techniques.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN) or equivalent required; Master's degree in Nursing (MSN) preferred.
  • Current state licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN); APRN certification as a Nurse Practitioner (NP) required.
  • Minimum one year of acute care RN experience, preferably in hematology oncology; military experience considered.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Heart Association (AHA).
  • ONS chemo/bio course completion within two years of hire if employed on units where chemo is administered.

Salary

The estimated salary for this position is $85,000 - $110,000 per annum, depending on experience and qualifications.
