Job SummaryWe are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Chef Manager to join our team at Aramark. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for leading our kitchen operations, developing and implementing menu plans, and ensuring exceptional customer service.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage kitchen personnel, including training and development
- Develop and implement menu plans, including recipe selection and pricing
- Estimate food consumption and requisition or purchase food
- Ensure proper equipment operation and maintenance, and maintain a safe and clean kitchen environment
- Oversee special catering events and provide culinary instruction and demonstrations
Requirements
- 2-3 years of experience in a related position
- 2-3 years of post-high school education or equivalent experience
- Culinary degree preferred
- Advanced knowledge of food principles and practices
- Experiential knowledge of management and problem-solving
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
