Role Summary:
We are in search of a Director of Advanced Analytics & Insights to spearhead and elevate the organization's data analytics capabilities. This role will collaborate with key stakeholders to align business objectives, generate actionable insights, identify growth avenues, enhance operational efficiency, and support data-driven decision-making. The Director will lead interdisciplinary teams, guiding various business units in crafting and assessing innovative strategies to maximize the value derived from data resources.

Key Responsibilities:

Strategic Planning and Implementation:
• Empower business units with data, tools, and models to derive insights and establish metrics/KPIs, driving data-informed decisions to fulfill organizational goals.
• Collaborate with product, finance, and other departments to deploy cutting-edge technologies and advanced analytics capabilities.
• Foster continuous improvement initiatives to enhance the performance, scalability, and reliability of analytics platforms, thereby promoting user adoption and organizational efficiency.

Advanced Analytics and Data Science:
• Utilize expertise in Advanced Analytics, including Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Augmented Analytics, Data Fabric, Data Integration, Data Visualization, and Generative AI, to transform data into a strategic asset.
• Define and execute data acquisition and integration strategies to monitor and enhance performance while optimizing data solution scalability.
• Promote the adoption of self-service analytics and advanced tools to continuously refine the organization’s strategic use of data.

Agile Data Solutions Delivery:
• Apply agile methodologies to collaborate with cross-functional teams, including data analysts, engineers, scientists, and business stakeholders, to swiftly develop and refine Data Analytics and BI solutions.
• Formulate a strategy to democratize data through AI-driven self-service analytics solutions.
• Ensure timely delivery of data solutions that meet evolving business needs and generate incremental value.

Business Collaboration:
• Oversee and partner with business units on data initiatives, driving proofs of concept, prototypes, and projects to ensure alignment with business needs and value delivery.
• Lead the design and development of data models, dashboards, reports, visualizations, and automation.
• Educate stakeholders on the advantages and capabilities of data analytics.
• Deliver actionable insights and data-driven recommendations to business leaders.
• Monitor and report on the impact of data initiatives on organizational performance.

Leadership and Team Development:
• Guide and mentor a team of data professionals, including data scientists, analysts, engineers, and BI developers.
• Cultivate a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement within the data team.
• Manage project budgets, timelines, and daily operations of team members.

Technology and Tools:
• Assess new advanced analytical capabilities that align with the enterprise data strategy.
• Identify tools and technologies to deliver effective solutions that meet business requirements.
• Stay updated on industry trends and emerging technologies to ensure the organization remains a leader in data innovation.

Performance Metrics:
• Develop and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to evaluate the success of data initiatives and their impact on business outcomes.
• Align data team KPIs with business objectives to ensure data activities drive measurable value.
• Regularly review and report on KPIs, utilizing data to identify improvement areas and promote strategic, data-driven decision-making.
• Adhere to ethical standards and comply with applicable laws and regulations.

Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, Computer Science, Data Management, or a related field.
• 10+ years of experience in data strategy, advanced analytics, or related fields.
• Alternatively, a Bachelor's degree with 8+ years of relevant experience or a Master's degree with 6+ years of relevant experience.
• Proficient understanding of data analytics, machine learning, and visualization tools.
• Experience with agile methodologies and delivering data solutions within an agile framework.
• Proven track record in building and scaling data analytics capabilities.
