Our mission is to make the downsizing process stress-free and seamless, allowing our clients to focus on what matters most – their well-being.

Role Summary

We are seeking a skilled Downsizing and Relocation Coordinator to join our team. As a Downsizing and Relocation Coordinator, you will play a key role in providing expert support to clients, assisting them in navigating the complexities of downsizing and relocation.

Main Responsibilities
  1. Sorting and Organization: Assist clients in sorting through their belongings, offering guidance and support in making decisions about what to keep, donate, sell, or discard.
  2. Space Optimization: Maximize space efficiency in clients' homes by implementing innovative storage solutions and organizational strategies.
  3. Liquidation Support: Capture high-quality photographs of merchandise for online auction listings, ensuring accurate representation and highlighting key features.
  4. Title and Description Writing: Write engaging and descriptive titles and descriptions for auction listings, incorporating relevant keywords and details to attract potential buyers.
  5. Research: Conduct research to determine appropriate listing or items based on market trends, condition, and demand, ensuring to maximize sales.
  6. Coordination of Services: Coordinate with external service providers, such as movers, estate sale professionals, and donation centers, to facilitate the downsizing process smoothly and efficiently.
  7. Emotional Support: Provide emotional support and encouragement to clients throughout the downsizing process, recognizing the emotional challenges associated with letting go of possessions and transitioning to a new living environment.
  8. Documentation and Inventory Management: Maintain accurate records of clients' belongings, documenting items to be kept, sold, donated, or disposed of, and ensuring proper inventory management throughout the downsizing process.
  9. Follow-Up and Feedback: Conduct follow-up meetings with clients to ensure their satisfaction with the downsizing process and gather feedback for continuous improvement.
Requirements
  • Compassionate and empathetic demeanor, with a genuine desire to help others during challenging life transitions.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and trust with clients.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities effectively.
  • Experience in downsizing, relocation, senior care, or related fields is preferred but not required.
  • Knowledge of local resources and service providers related to downsizing and relocation is a plus.
