Job Title: Housekeeper - Per Diem

Join our team at CRISTA Senior Living as a Housekeeper - Per Diem. As a key member of our housekeeping team, you will play a vital role in maintaining a safe and clean environment for our residents, their families, and our staff.

Job Summary:

The Housekeeper will be responsible for performing routine duties including cleaning, disinfecting, emptying trash, and providing supplies to patient rooms, resident apartments, common areas, restrooms, and equipment. This is an on-call position, and you will be required to work variable shifts, including weekends and holidays.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform daily cleaning and disinfecting of patient rooms, resident apartments, common areas, and restrooms.
  • Empty trash and recyclables, and provide supplies as needed.
  • Monitor assigned areas and report any unsafe or broken materials to the Environmental Supervisor.
  • Properly use and take care of equipment.
  • Attend meetings, classes, and receive training as assigned by the Environmental Manager.
  • Follow Residents' Rights policies at all times.
  • Follow procedures outlined in the employee's handbook.
  • Use ladders in a safe manner, when required.
  • Work collaboratively with manager, supervisor, lead, coworkers, and residents.

  • Ability to read, write, communicate in, and interpret English at a functional level.
  • Ability to interact with a wide variety of people, particularly the elderly and their family members.
  • Able to solve problems and work independently.
  • Able to multitask and use discretion on what task requires a higher priority.
Benefits:

As a member of our team, you will enjoy a competitive compensation package, including a starting rate of $17.00 - $18.35 per hour, depending on experience. You will also have access to a 403(b) matching program, sick leave, and other benefits.
