Key Responsibilities
Tax Proficiency:
Oversee the evaluation of Individual, Corporate, Partnership, and various State tax returns, demonstrating your expertise in a wide range of tax issues.
Payroll and Sales Tax Management:
Manage the review of payroll tax returns and sales tax returns, ensuring precision and adherence to regulations.
In-Depth Research and Financial Analysis:
Perform thorough tax research, including complex tax projections, and analyze various compiled financial statements to provide strategic insights.
Client Interaction:
Work closely with the Business Management team, addressing client inquiries, offering projections, ensuring compliance, and contributing to the development of tax strategies.
Required Qualifications:
Hold a Bachelor's degree in Accounting, with 5-10 years of recent public accounting tax experience, showcasing your CPA license or EA certification. Navigate a fast-paced environment with strong communication, organizational, and analytical skills. Proficiency in MS Excel, QuickBooks, and tax software such as RIA Checkpoint or UltraTax is advantageous. Experience in the music or entertainment industry and familiarity with audit/review/compilation processes are also beneficial.
