We are seeking a highly skilled Audiologist to join our team at MRG Exams. As part of the VA's disability benefits process, you will conduct thorough medical assessments on U.S. Veterans.
This is an in-person role that offers a structured schedule with no evenings, weekends, or on-call requirements. You will evaluate claims for benefits and complete necessary documentation using the Maryland CNC Test and Puretone Audiometric test.
You will work closely with Veteran files uploaded into a computer portal, reviewing their medical records during appointments. Your assessment will form the medical evidence allowing the VA to decide the veteran's benefits.
A key aspect of this role is providing medical assessments without prescribing treatments or devices. You will review and assess 3-6 Veterans per day on average.
This part-time position offers flexible scheduling with 1 hour to 1 hour & 30 minutes per patient. You can expect a stable and secure work environment with MRG Exams.
Requirements- Hold an Au.D from an ASHA Accredited school
- Have a current license as an Audiologist
- Meet the credentialing requirements set forth by the VA
- Malpractice Insurance covered by MRG
- Health insurance options available
- ASHA Learning Pass membership (CEU)
The estimated annual salary for this role in Lake Charles, LA is approximately $73,000 - $90,000, depending on experience and qualifications.
