Key Responsibilities- Conduct audits and reviews of financial statements and other documents to ensure accuracy and compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Identify and assess risks associated with audit engagements and develop strategies to mitigate those risks.
- Communicate effectively with clients and other stakeholders to ensure that audit findings and recommendations are understood and implemented.
- Stay up-to-date with current developments and changes in regulatory requirements and industry standards.
- Collaborate with other team members to ensure that audit engagements are completed efficiently and effectively.
- Minimum of 1 year of accounting experience, preferably in the governmental or non-profit sector.
- Proficiency in Microsoft applications, including Excel, Word, and Outlook.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to adapt to changing priorities and deadlines.
