Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Diesel Mechanic to join our team at Worldwide Flight Services. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for performing preventative maintenance and repairs on heavy machinery and other related airport ground handling equipment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks on heavy machinery, including oil changes, filter replacements, and tire rotations.
  • Diagnose and repair malfunctions in airport ground handling equipment, including conveyor belts, baggage handling systems, and other related equipment.
  • Utilize technical drawing and testing equipment to troubleshoot and repair complex issues.
  • Obtain replacement parts and install them as needed, ensuring all equipment is in good working condition.
  • Collaborate with our management team to prioritize repairs and maintenance tasks, ensuring all equipment is properly maintained and functioning within safety standards.
Requirements:
  • 2+ years of experience as a diesel mechanic or heavy equipment technician.
  • Strong knowledge of heavy machinery and airport ground handling equipment.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
