Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Operations Manager to join our team at Greene County, OH. As a key member of our Sanitary Engineering Division, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our water reclamation facilities and ensuring the highest level of efficiency and effectiveness.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise and manage a team of subordinate staff, including resolving conflicts and approving leave requests.
  • Assign and monitor staff work quality and adherence to policies and procedures.
  • Prioritize daily work tasks and provide technical advice and guidance to staff.
  • Inspect process units and grounds to ensure proper maintenance and optimum operating efficiency.
  • Perform site or plant inspections to ensure efficient and effective operations.
  • Coordinate equipment maintenance and repair activities with other supervisors.
  • Participate in the formulation of operating policies and procedures.
  • Compile and analyze data to assess plant performance and necessary process changes.
  • Ensure employee safety and related training, and conduct mandatory training sessions.
  • Assist with division budgetary control and requisition materials and supplies.
Requirements
  • Completion of an undergraduate core program in business or public administration, chemistry, biology, or a closely related area.
  • 5 years of experience in the operation of a wastewater treatment plant.
  • 36 months of progressively responsible managerial and supervisory experience.
  • Valid Ohio Driver's License.
  • Current Ohio Class IV Wastewater Operator License.
