Substation Wireman

Qualus Solutions of Florida, LLC is a leading provider of specialized maintenance and testing of power systems. We are seeking a skilled Substation Wireman to join our team.

The Substation Wireman will be responsible for performing control wire pulling, wire terminations, and relay/control panel construction and installation within substations and electrical facilities. The ideal candidate will have the ability to read prints, use standard hand and power tools, and follow specific work instructions while adhering to all Safety and Human Performance fundamentals.

• Work in electrical substation environment mostly inside control houses.
• Install station battery racks as needed.
• Wires from point-to-point or schematics.
• Perform protection relay panel wiring and install prewired panels.
• Installs electrical components per layout drawings.
• 75% travel to various substations throughout the state of Florida.

• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Valid driver's license and a good driving record.
• Perform regular electrical field work both indoors and outdoors.
• Must be able to work in various weather conditions from the heat of summer to the cold of winter.
• Must be willing to travel as required.
