Job Opportunity: Adjunct Dance Faculty

SUNY Brockport is seeking qualified applicants for part-time adjunct faculty positions in the Department of Dance.

Job Summary

The Department of Dance at SUNY Brockport is committed to providing high-quality dance education to students. We are seeking adjunct faculty members to teach dance courses and contribute to the department's mission.

Responsibilities
  • Teach dance courses, including technique, composition, and history
  • Develop and implement curriculum for dance courses
  • Assess student learning and provide feedback
  • Participate in departmental meetings and contribute to departmental decisions
Requirements
  • Master's degree in Dance or a related field from an accredited institution
  • Significant teaching experience in dance
  • Ability to work effectively with students, faculty, and staff
Preferred Qualifications
  • Master of Fine Arts degree or Doctorate in Dance or a related field
  • Experience teaching dance courses at the college level
Work Schedule

Monday - Friday

Salary and Benefits

$4000 per 3-credit class

May be benefits eligible
