Fluor is seeking a highly skilled Health, Safety & Environmental (HSE) professional to lead our HSE function and team. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for creating and sustaining a productive work culture and safe work environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage and train subordinates on HSE activities, including calculation and control of HSE budgets, staffing requirements, and schedules.
  • Provide guidance and advice to business lines, project management, and Company organizations on HSE practices and procedures.
  • Make decisions on engineering/scientific problems and methods relating to HSE.
  • Lead the implementation of HSE programs, including project site-based HSE orientation, recognition, and awards programs.
  • Run gap analyses to identify and address program gaps between Company practices, client requirements, and regulatory/legislative requirements.
Requirements:
  • Accredited four (4) year degree or global equivalent in applicable field of study and ten (10) years of work-related experience.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with audiences, including management, coworkers, clients, vendors, contractors, and other stakeholders.
  • Job-related technical knowledge necessary to complete the job.
  • Ability to learn and apply knowledge of applicable local, state/province, and federal/national statutes and guidelines.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • IT background preferred, with experience coordinating training programs.
  • Advanced computer and software skills, including word processing, email, spreadsheets, and electronic presentations.
  • Skills demonstrating the capability to run a medium to large project or multi-project site.
