About this Job

Kinston Community Health is seeking a skilled Clinical Interpreter to facilitate communication between healthcare providers and Spanish-speaking patients. As a key member of our team, you will play a critical role in ensuring that patients receive high-quality care.

Your Key Responsibilities
  • Provide on-site and over-the-phone interpretation services to patients, families, and healthcare providers.
  • Collaborate with healthcare teams to develop culturally sensitive care plans.
  • Document interpretation services in the EHR to maintain accurate records.

You will need to have fluency in both English and Spanish, as well as a High School Diploma or equivalent and experience working in a healthcare setting. Certification in medical interpretation is preferred, as is knowledge of medical terminology in both languages.

Compensation
  • A competitive salary of $70,000 - $90,000 per year, depending on experience.
