  • We are looking for a highly motivated individual to join our team as a Grocery Sales Associate. This role is responsible for maintaining a well-stocked, organized, and visually appealing Grocery department that meets customer demands and maximizes sales.
  • The successful candidate will be responsible for:
    • Building displays to drive incremental sales
    • Stocking and rotating merchandise to ensure freshness
    • Keeping product within easy customer reach
    • Storing excess merchandise according to backroom organization guidelines
  • Smiling and greeting customers, answering their questions, and helping resolve concerns in a polite and professional manner
  • Applying proper stocking techniques to ensure products are properly located on shelves, with correct prices and signs
  • Maintaining general sanitation in the department, following cleaning schedules and department guidelines to ensure a clean and healthy environment
  • Responsible for general productivity standards, work methods, and standards, as well as shrink control
  • May assist with baling cardboard or other related duties, if properly trained and trained provided
  • Ensures smooth function of department and store by cooperating with co-workers and supervisors, responsible to continuously improve job performance
