Job Summary

The Nuclear Medicine Technologist Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the delivery and quality of imaging services in the Nuclear Medicine department. This includes ensuring adequate staffing levels, supplies, and resources are available to perform exams and clinical services to meet clinical demands.

The successful candidate will have 3 years of Nuclear Med Tech experience, hospital experience, and preferably, billing knowledge and Charge integrity. Certification in Medical Radiologic Tech (MRT) from the Texas Medical Board is required, along with one of the following ARRT-NM or CNMT certifications.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee the delivery and quality of imaging services in the Nuclear Medicine department
  • Ensure adequate staffing levels, supplies, and resources are available to perform exams and clinical services
  • Perform procedures as needed due to workload or complexity
  • Interview, counsel, and complete performance evaluations
  • Train new staff and ensure all registrations and certifications are current, on file, and up to date
  • Participate in multidisciplinary staff meetings to ensure consistent and timely communication throughout the department
