Responsibilities
  • Examine and diagnose oral cavity anomalies and dental malocclusions, developing treatment plans to address these issues.
  • Responsible for realigning and straightening teeth and jaws using orthodontic retainers and braces.
  • Analyze medical and dental histories, X-rays, and photos to create personalized treatment plans.
  • Fit patients with dental appliances, prepare treatment records, and provide cost estimates.
  • Design appliances such as retainers, lingual and labial arch wires, and space maintainers.
Qualifications
  • DMD or DDS degree from an accredited institution.
  • MSD/Certificate in Orthodontics from a recognized program.
  • Valid Dentistry License/Eligibility in the State of Tennessee with no disciplinary actions.
