We are seeking a highly skilled Pharmacist to join our team at Garden City Hospital, a member of Prime Healthcare. As a Per Diem Pharmacist, you will play a critical role in providing exceptional patient care and ensuring the highest quality of pharmaceutical services.
Responsibilities- Under the supervision of the Director of Pharmacy, coordinate the activities of the pharmacy department to provide pharmaceutical care to patients.
- Ensure patient safety by maintaining accurate records and adhering to regulatory standards.
- Collaborate with healthcare teams to develop and implement patient care plans.
- Provide education and training to patients and healthcare staff on medication management and safety.
- Current state Registered Pharmacist License.
- Experience in hospital pharmacy operations preferred.
- B.S. degree in Pharmacy required; Doctor of Pharmacy degree preferred.
- BLS certification required within 6 months of hire and must be maintained.
