We are seeking a highly skilled Vascular Sonographer to join our team at HSHS St. Elizabeth's Hospital. As a Vascular Sonographer, you will be responsible for performing cardiac ultrasounds to assess the anatomy and pathophysiology of the heart and great vessels in adult and pediatric patients.
Key Responsibilities- Perform adult and pediatric trans-thoracic echocardiograms, trans-esophageal echocardiograms, and stress echocardiograms
- Use ultrasound instruments to produce clinically useful diagnostic information
- Assess the anatomy and pathophysiology of the heart and great vessels
- Collaborate with healthcare teams to provide high-quality patient care
- Certification as a Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS) from the American Registry of Diagnostic Sonographers (ARDMS) or a Registered Cardiac Sonographer (RCS) from the Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI)
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Experience in sonography/ultrasound is preferred
