Key Responsibilities- Review patient medical history and elicit relevant information from patients and their caregivers.
- Measure vital signs, administer medication, and obtain and process specimens as directed.
- Assist providers with exams and procedures, maintain accurate records, and comply with HIPAA guidelines.
- Develop positive relationships with patients and their caregivers, educate them on recommended techniques to improve and maintain good health, and promote good health throughout the facility.
- Perform clinical supply inventories, stock exam rooms, and maintain a safe and clean environment.
- Must have an Ohio LPN license, BLS certification, and meet CEU requirements to maintain licensure.
- Must have proficient computer skills and the ability to become proficient in software programs specific to Lorain County Health & Dentistry.
- Must have excellent communication skills, the ability to work cooperatively with others, and a valid driver's license with a satisfactory driving record.
- Bilingual Spanish speaking is a plus.
