About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Software Development Manager to lead our team of software engineers in the design, development, and commercialization of the Rhythmia Mapping System. As a technical leader, you will be responsible for directing the activities of the software engineering group, defining software requirements, designing, implementing, and testing software using various testing approaches.

The Rhythmia Mapping System is a real-time virtual world of the human heart, generating an accurate anatomical model of the chamber as a physician probes the heart with a catheter. High-performance rendering and algorithmic techniques are vital to creating a stunning view and providing the physician with instant feedback.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide management and technical guidance to professional employees.
  • Develop and maintain software requirements and design documents.
  • Oversee the efficient, high-quality design and implementation of critical medical device software.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure software meets regulatory requirements.
  • Recruit, coach, and develop organizational talent, including participation in local universities' internship program.
  • Foster a diverse workplace that enables all participants to contribute to their full potential.
  • Make decisions regarding work processes or operational plans and schedules to achieve department objectives.
Requirements
  • BS/MS in Computer Science/Electrical Engineering or equivalent experience with a strong software development background.
  • Hands-on working knowledge with Linux, C++, Networking, and Cybersecurity.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience directly managing and developing Software Engineers.
  • Experience developing product software compliant with IEC 62304 standards.
  • Knowledge of Lean/Agile concepts and software engineering methods and tools.
