Job Summary:
Soliant is seeking a skilled Physical Therapist to join our team in a school-based setting. As a Physical Therapist, you will be responsible for conducting assessments, developing treatment plans, and providing direct physical therapy services to students.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive assessments to evaluate students' gross motor skills, strength, range of motion, and functional abilities.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to address students' physical challenges and promote optimal participation in school activities.
- Provide direct physical therapy services to students in both individual and group settings, as outlined in the Individualized Education Program (IEP) goals.
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and other professionals to support students' academic success and social development through effective physical therapy interventions.
- Monitor student progress, document therapy sessions, and communicate effectively with the multidisciplinary team.
Requirements:
- Master's degree in Physical Therapy.
- New Jersey state license or eligibility for licensure.
- Previous experience in a school-based setting or with pediatric populations preferred.
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
