Job Description
This is an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Cardiovascular Medicine Specialist at Mercy Fitzgerald Hospital. As a member of our Department, you will be responsible for furnishing medicine services as reasonably required for patient care and the operation of the Department.
Key Responsibilities:
- Render medical services to patients in a competent, professional, and ethical manner, in accordance with prevailing standards of medical practice in the relevant community.
- Perform professional and supervisory services in accordance with recognized standards of the medical profession.
- Conduct chart and case reviews and other activities as directed by Hospital management.
Required Skills and Qualifications
To succeed in this role, you will need to possess the following skills and qualifications:
- A current and valid license to practice medicine in the State of Pennsylvania.
- Board Certification in Cardiology and adequate training to provide services in Cardiology.
- Current, unrestricted federal and Pennsylvania permits to prescribe medications, including controlled substances.
- Membership in good standing of Mercy Fitzgerald Hospital Staff.
