Job Overview:
Kenan Advantage Group, a leading transportation and logistics provider, is seeking a skilled Diesel Mechanic to join our team. As a key member of our maintenance crew, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient operation of our fleet of commercial vehicles.

About the Role:
This is a dynamic and challenging position that requires a strong understanding of diesel engines, electrical systems, and preventive maintenance techniques. You will work closely with our experienced technicians to diagnose and repair complex issues, as well as perform routine maintenance tasks such as oil changes and equipment inspections.

Key Responsibilities:
* Perform general property and vehicle maintenance & repair duties in and around the shop operations in a fast-paced environment
* Train/assist other technicians in performing preventive/repair of facilities and equipment to include trucks, tractors and trailers
* Create and complete work order entries, maintain work order and vehicle maintenance records
* Conduct all levels of preventive maintenance functions such as regular servicing of vehicles including oil changes, and equipment inspections
* Electrical diagnostics, repair and replacement
* Lead and/or assist with the physical parts inventory, receiving and proper charge out of parts to work orders

Requirements:
* High School diploma or equivalent required
* Basic computer knowledge
* Basic set of technician tools in accordance with KAG list
* Physical Requirements: Frequently lifting up to 50 pounds, occasional carrying, pushing, hand grip, sitting, standing, walking, climbing, stooping, kneeling, crouching/squatting, reaching overhead, handling, vision, talking
