Soliant Health is seeking a dedicated and experienced Occupational Therapist to join our team in the Oswego, IL area.

About the Role:

  • Provide occupational therapy services to early childhood and transitioning students within the school system.
  • Assess and evaluate students' needs, developing individualized treatment plans that promote growth and development.
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other educational professionals to support students' learning and development.
  • Implement therapy sessions in both individual and group settings, adapting to meet the unique needs of each student.
  • Monitor and document students' progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary to ensure optimal outcomes.
  • Participate in IEP meetings, contributing to goal setting and planning that prioritizes students' success.
  • Provide training and resources to school staff and parents on strategies to support students' occupational therapy needs, empowering them to make a lasting impact.

Qualifications:

  • A Master's degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
  • Current licensure as an Occupational Therapist in the state of Illinois.
  • Experience working with early childhood and transition-aged students is preferred, but not required.
  • A strong understanding of developmental milestones and intervention strategies, with a passion for making a meaningful difference in the lives of young children.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
