About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant to join our team at Advanced Therapy Clinic LLC. As a COTA, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality occupational therapy services to children and adolescents with various disabilities or delays.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct services to clients, including conducting assessments, developing and implementing treatment plans, and evaluating progress.
  • Collaborate with occupational therapists, other healthcare professionals, and families to ensure comprehensive care.
  • Conduct home and school environment assessments to identify areas for improvement and provide recommendations for adaptive equipment and strategies.
  • Educate caregivers and family members on patient care, including techniques for daily activities and adaptive equipment use.
  • Maintain accurate records and communicate effectively with team members and families.

Requirements:

  • Associate degree in occupational therapy assisting from a university certified by the ACOTE or AOTA.
  • Certification by the National Board for Certification.
  • Compliance with state healthcare regulatory requirements.
  • Up-to-date knowledge of treatment practices and occupational therapy programs.
