Job Summary:
Tehama County Health Services Agency is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse II to join our team. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will provide high-quality patient care and support the functions and operations of our Health Services Agency.
Responsibilities:
- Perform a variety of professional nursing and client care services to support the functions and operations of the Health Services Agency.
- Practice settings include primary care clinic, public health, mental health, and correctional facilities.
- Maintain significant flexibility in daily operations and decision-making.
- Stay up-to-date with laws, rules, and regulations applicable to nursing practice.
- Collaborate with community aspects of nursing programs.
Requirements:
- Any combination of training and experience which would provide the required knowledge, skills, and abilities is qualifying.
- A typical way to obtain the required qualifications would be: Graduation from an accredited four-year college or university with a Bachelor's degree in Nursing or graduation from an accredited college with an Associate's degree in Nursing and a Bachelor's degree in a health-related field.
- Two years of registered nursing experience must accompany a Bachelor's degree in a health-related field, other than nursing.

This position is represented by the Local 39 bargaining unit. The department is currently recruiting for multiple vacancies. In addition, Tehama County is establishing an eligibility list to fill future vacancies for a Registered Nurse II, as well as subsequent vacancies, which occur during the life of the eligibility list.
Testing and Interview Process:
Testing will be provided via email. Only the most qualified candidates will be invited to interview. In compliance with current regulations in the state of California, this position does not require employees to obtain a COVID-19 vaccination, although it is highly recommended.
