Job Description:
As a travel nurse with Epic Travel Staffing, you will have the opportunity to work in some of the most prestigious hospitals and medical facilities across the country. Our current opening is for a pediatric cardiac ICU position in Indianapolis, Indiana. In this role, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care to critically ill children suffering from complex heart conditions. Your expertise will be essential in ensuring the best possible outcomes for these young patients. The unit is ranked as one of the top cardiac ICUs in the nation and features advanced equipment and technology.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
To excel in this role, you will need to possess the following skills and qualifications:
- A valid IN license
- No less than 1.5 years of experience in a CVPICU setting
- Strong telemetry and ventilator management skills
- Current BLS and PALS certifications
While prior experience in a PICU setting is not mandatory, it is highly desirable. We are willing to train qualified applicants on the specific needs of a CVPICU environment. Additionally, you should be comfortable with float requirements to other units such as cardiac stepdown or PICU.
