Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Computed Tomography Technologist to join our team at Medical City Plano. As a CT Technologist, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality imaging services to our patients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform routine and specialized imaging procedures using computed tomography (CT) scanners.
  • Assess image quality and make adjustments as necessary to ensure high-quality images.
  • Prepare the room and equipment for each patient, using aseptic technique to maintain a clean and safe environment.
  • Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate and timely diagnosis and treatment.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient procedures and images.

Requirements:

  • Vocational school graduate or registered radiographer (ARRT) or certified medical radiologic technologist.
  • Two years of experience in CT scanning preferred.
  • Ability to work on-call and report to the facility within 30 minutes of being called back.
  • Must be fully vaccinated for COVID-19, in accordance with local, state, and federal regulations.
