Position Overview:
As a Retail Assistant Manager, you will collaborate closely with the Store Manager to drive all initiatives that support the achievement of business goals while fostering an exceptional service culture. Key Responsibilities:
- Business Strategy and Vision: Collaborate with the Store Manager to develop and execute business strategies aimed at enhancing sales and sustainable growth.
- Support the Store Manager in maximizing sales performance to meet budget objectives while maintaining operational integrity.
- Engage actively on the sales floor to provide exceptional customer service and foster a positive shopping experience.
- Assist in training staff on product knowledge to ensure the team is well-informed about the brand and seasonal initiatives.
- Lead efforts to establish community relationships and promote local events through networking.
- Participate in the annual compensation process alongside the Store Manager.
- Stay informed about industry trends and competitor activities.
Leadership and Team Development:
- Attract and retain a high-performing team, building a robust talent pipeline.
- Ensure a consistent onboarding experience for new hires.
- Support the Store Manager in managing staffing budgets and resource allocation to drive sales and customer service excellence.
- Conduct coaching sessions with team members to review performance and provide constructive feedback.
- Engage in the annual Development Dialog process to identify and create action plans for team members.
- Collaborate on employee relations matters to ensure effective resolutions.
- Encourage ongoing growth and development within the team.
Client Engagement:
- Utilize client strategies to achieve business objectives and enhance customer retention.
- Promote brand visibility and market presence through community outreach and events.
- Ensure superior customer service and after-sales experiences to build customer loyalty.
- Implement company CRM initiatives to personalize client interactions.
- Capture customer data to foster meaningful relationships.
Operational Excellence:
- Analyze store performance and report on business trends.
- Collaborate with various partners to adhere to company policies and procedures.
- Participate in loss prevention audits to maintain inventory integrity.
- Ensure accurate processing of merchandise requests and shipments.

Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field is preferred, or equivalent experience.
- Minimum of 2+ years of management experience in retail or a service-oriented industry.
- Ability to analyze sales data and respond effectively to business needs.
- Proven track record of enhancing customer experiences and building loyalty.
- Strong communication skills and ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and retail management systems.
